Hindi na nakapagpigil pa ang isang professional photographer na si Ezra Acayan at tinawag ang atensyon ng GMA News, GMA Public Affairs tungkol sa di-umanoy paulit-ulit na lang ng paghingi ng naturang istayon sa kanyang mga kuhang larawan sa libre at pawang 'proper courtesy' lamang ang ibinibigay sa mga buwis buhay niyang mga kuha habang rumaragasa ang bagyong Ulysses.
Ito'y upang magamit at maitampok ng GMA sa kanilang mga News and TV programs, radios, official websites, social media accounts at mai-ere sa loob at labas ng bansa.
Iginiit pa ni Acayan na kung gaano kahirap ang kanilang ginagawa at marami din sa mga mga photographers ang ginastusan talaga ang kanilang mga gamit at inilagay ang kanilang mga sarili sa kapahamakan upang makakuha at makapag produce ng mga magagandang detalye ng mga larawan.

"GMA News GMA Public Affairs I'm done being nice. This is the nth time your producers approached me asking for free pictures, and I'm sure you practice the same on other photographers and content creators," saad ni Acayan sa kanyang social media post.
"Your programs that have "local and international airing" with "online platforms and multiple replays" make millions, so why can't you offer to pay photographers?," dagdag niya.
Marami din umano sa mga kasamahan niyang photographers ang mga abonado na sa kanilang trabaho at kakarampot lang din ang binabayad sa kanila at hihingin lang ng libre ng malaking istasyon na kumikita ng malaking pera sa mula kanilang mga ipinapalabas sa ibat-ibang platforms.

"Madaming photographer abonado na tapos kakarampot lang bayad sakanila, tapos kayo gusto niyo free lang? This predatory practice has to end," saad niya.

Edit: Just to give you an idea of how much money this network is making, their two YouTube channels alone have a combined following of 33.4 million followers raking in tens of billions of views. A billion views is worth more or less $1,000,000 (yes dollars).
This excludes their TV programs, radio, and all other revenue they make from advertising.
