Neri Naig-Miranda and other celebs rejoice over Sarah Geronimo-Matteo Guidicelli engagement

Neri Naig-Miranda, actress and now a well-known social media influencer, appeared as though she is the representative of all Sarah Geronimo fans when she posted on Instagram minutes after the pop star and her long-time boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli declared their engagement.

On Instagram Thursday, Matteo posted a photo of him and his long-time girlfriend Sarah, who is wearing what appears to be an engagement ring.

"I love you my love, now and forever," Matteo wrote in the caption.

Congratulatory messages from fans and friends flooded Matteo's post. And some celebrities and fans even posted and shared their happiness for the couple on their own social media accounts. 

One of which is Parokya ni Edgar's frontman, Chito Miranda's wife, Neri, who posted a heart-warming message to Matteo and Sarah and said that even if the couple is not close to her and does not know her personally, she will celebrate the couple's engagement and will even treat others she will see on streets for free burgers.

"Magpapapansit ako bukas! Magse-celebrate din kami dito! Hahaha! Sasamahan ko ng lumpia! Hehe!

"PS baka bili na lang ako sa Jollibee ng burger at kung sino ang makasalubong ko, bibigyan ko ng burger sa sobrang saya ko! Hahaha!", Ms. Miranda wrote.

Likewise, Neri wasn't the only celebrity to celebrate the news. ABS-CBN stars Angel Locsin and Angelica Panganiban sent their well-wishes, hence, their good friend KC Concepcion expressed happiness for the couple as well.

Even GMA-7 stars Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz, who was previously linked to Sarah, expressed their joy over the news.

#AshMattNowAndForever trended on Twitter, both in the Philippines and worldwide. Long-time supporters of the couple sent their well-wishes through the social media platform, although Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli have yet to post further insights concerning their alleged engagement.
