In a report from Manila Bulletin, it said it might take 9 months for the Anonas, Katipunan and Santolan stations of the Light Rail Transit-2 (LRT) to become operational again.
However, a news from ABS-CBN confirmed that the Light Rail Transit Authority announced its planned closure for nine months, particularly Santolan and Katipunan stations of LRT-2.
It will not be operational due to the damage inflicted by the fire that broke out between the two stations on Thursday.
It was the power rectifier at the Katipunan Station of LRT-2, which was heavily damaged, that will take several months to fix.
LRTa, nonetheless, declared that partial operations of LRT-2, from Recto to Cubao, will resume next week, specifically citing either Monday or Tuesday.
