A certain mother, Joan Atilano was patiently selling Sampaguita while carrying her child that needed to undergo in an oper4tion and wearing a placard that seeking for help. She said that there is no time to be wasted because time was her opponent right now.

The LITRO (LIver TR4nsplant Operation) Babies Philippines, Inc. founder, Jenny Sumalpong explained why the child needed to undergo an operation soon in an online interview.

Jenny stated, who also shared the video clip of Joan in Facebook,

“I personally know them. One year and five months old na si Baby Andrei. They are racing against time. Sa biliary atresia c4ses po kasi, usually ‘di na inaabot ng two years old ang bata kasi lumalabas na ang mga complic4tion habang tumatagal.”

The child needed around P1.6 million for it to undergo in an operation in India at the Apollo Hospital.

Because of this, Joan was concurring to take care of her beloved child and selling the Sampaguita. She said that she will do everything she can for the liver tr4nsplant of the child. This is also one of the reasons why she approached Jenny and asked for her and also to the support group that she is leading.

Joan stated that she still needs a lot of money to complete the money that Andrei, her son, needed as of writing.

Jenny, on the other hand, was also asking for the help of the netizens because the baby really racing against time and needed to undergo an oper4tion immediately,

Jenny told,

“Nakikiusap po sana ako na tulungan po natin si Baby Andrei na mabigyan ng pag-asang mabuh4y at makasama pa ng pamilya niya. They are racing against time and need na maoper4han si Baby. Nangangailangan sila ng P1.6 million. So far, nasa P300,000 pa lang naiipon nila.”
