In 1999, a 6-year old Catriona Gray joined Little Miss Philippines, in the longest running noontime show, Eat Bulaga. This is a trivia that EB Host Ruby Rodriguez posted on her Instagram.
The trivia itself was entertaining enough, but what made the post unique is how Ruby connected mainstay Rya Mae Dizon to the current Miss Universe

Ryzza Mae also joined Little Miss Philippines like Catriona, Ruby stated on her caption that Ryzza Mae still has a chance.

Funny reactions
One of those who reacted to her post is Kapamilya TV host /comedienne Bela Padilla, Bela laughed and used a bewildered “??!” To question the caption of Ruby. She just answered with “dba may chanz?”
Cha-cha walk
Another funny thing that the people in the comments came up with is that if ever Ryzza Mae does follow Catriona’s footsteps, she’ll start the Cha-Cha walk.
In 2012, Ryzza Mae started the Cha Cha dance move that became a trend. So if Catriona has her lava-walk, Ryzza Mae will have her ChaCha walk.
Celebrate with Cat
Aside from Ruby Rodriguez, other dabarkads also posted and celebrated with the newly crowned beauty queen.
Henyo Master Joey De Leon posted that Catriona has been a winner since before for them.
“Matagal ka nang winner sa amin Catriona!” He posted this as a caption, sharing fellow dabarkads Paolo Ballesteros’ makeu transformation as Catriona.
Joy also posted a photo of Cat in 1999 and a recent photp, with a caption, “Catriona Gray, Little Miss Philippines 1999, Miss Universe 2018. Conratulations.”
On a lighter note, another dabarkads who also congratulated Catriona and who also joined Little Miss Philippines is Ice Seguerra. She funnily said, “Nag Little Miss Philippines din naman ako ah? Anyare?”
