Open Letter to Kuya
Netizen John Dash Niel Masong expressed his unbearable opinion about the main issue on how the teens inside the house behave. Addressed to Big Brother, Masong is hopeful that his letter will reach the PBB management. He looks forward to a sensible teen edition moving forward. He sounds full of hope to see teens that depicts the “Kabataang Pinoy.” Those who will serve as an inspiration to Filipino teenagers.

John firmly believes that certain kabataan deserves to enter the house like the child of the farmer who amazingly got to Harvard, the kid of a jeepney driver who studies in UP, and an achiever on a science investigatory project. The long rundown of options includes an SSG president, a young mom who has learned her lesson, a former house helper who achieved high honors from college, and a youngster who was once indulged with drugs and now living his life for the better. Better options kept coming which include a contest joiner just to provide for her studies and a banana cue vendor.
The netizen pleads,
“Kuya andami pa pong options”
He says that he knows that the show instills moral lessons but it more often presents unruly behavior and flirtations. John asserts,
“Marami pong naghahanap ng totoong “Kuya” na gagabay sa kanila. Sana isa po kayo sa makita nila.”
Triggered Netizens
Netizens agreed to Masong’s open letter. Some expressed disbelief on how the show went low for the sake of ratings. The alarming issue dragging the names of housemates Criza and Karina has triggered the netizens to call out the PBB management.

Kuya, sana mabasa mo to.
Sana sa susunod na edition ng PBB,
yung mas makabuluhan naman.
Sana yung ipapasok na kabataan sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya ay yung totoong sumasalamin sa buhay ng kabataang Pinoy o yung maaring maging inspirasyon at kapulutan ng aral. Subukan mo po kayang ipasok yung anak ng farmer na nasa Harvard na ngayon, yung anak ng jeepney driver na nag-aaral sa UP, yung winner ng science investigatory project, yung SSG president dati, yung dalagang nabuntis habang nag aaral pero pinagsisihan na ang nangyari at nagpapakatino na ngayon, yung dating kasambahay na cum laude ngayon, yung dating nalululong sa bisyo pero nakuhang magbago. Sama mo narin yung batang kontesera para lang may pantustos sa pag-aaral, pati po yung nagtitinda ng banana cue sa kanto para may pang tuition.
Kuya, andami pa pong options.
Alam ko pong minsan may aral naman silang nakukuha sa panunuod ng nangyayari sa bahay nyo pero wag naman yung madalas kaharutan yung nakikita ng kabataan sa TV. Marami pong kabataan ang naghahanap ng totoong “Kuya” na gagabay sa kanila.
